What Do You Want?
At Roberts and Cowling, we are all about ensuring that we assist our clients in achieving their goals. This could range from anything from the valued 4 days working week, getting the best tax result or assisting a client to obtain finance so they can buy the house of there dreams. But this is all meaningless unless we know what you want?
How do we do this? We honestly all love interacting with our clients whether it be by phone calls, meeting or just a simple visit. This gives us a chance for us to discuss what is going on in our clients’ lives and see how we can assist them.
The reasons to do this are important as the motives of each assignment can be counterintuitive. For example, when going for a home loan where a bank would prefer to see higher income levels which would go counter to reducing your taxation obligation. Unless we communicate with our clients and establish that they want to buy a home we could in fact hinder and possibly stop inadvertently a client achieving one of their goals. This would be against our purpose!
In the end, the question has to be asked, what do you want? And how are your accountant and business advisor assisting you in achieving those things?
