We are proud to provide your business with a high value service with a reasonable budget. Roberts & Cowling will also endeavour to provide your business with a written quote before we commence your accounting work to ensure that you don't have any nasty surprises when you receive our fee.

A Proactive Approach

Our philosophy in relation to accounting and taxation services is to ensure that a client's work is accurate and that we have saved the client as much tax as possible. In this regard we take a proactive approach and encourage our clients to plan for their income tax before 30 June.

In many cases we can accurately predict a client's income tax obligations two to three months before 30 June. This approach allows two things to occur:

1. The client can budget over the next ten to eleven months to pay any remaining income tax liability before it becomes officially due.

2. We can set in motion transactions and a plan to save tax or in some cases avoid tax completely in that financial year before its too late to do anything about it.

Hourly Rate

Roberts & Cowling is small enough to look after each client with care and consideration. However, we also have the experience and networks to look after your complex issues or problems.

We offer our services at an hourly rate. Unlike most of our competitors we offer lower hourly rates (in some cases almost half that of our competitors) and reasonable billing procedures.

We do not charge for a five minute phone call for a quick question that does not require us to research or consider complex transactions.

Our hourly rate for our accounting services are as such:

Partners: $150 per hour (ex GST)
Accountants: $100 per hour (ex GST)

Work Completion

We offer our clients a three week work turnaround wherever possible. Obviously where there are complex queries or times of high workloads this may not be possible. However, we will always give you an indication when you can expect your work to be completed.


Philosophy

Roberts & Cowling does not endorse tax schemes or unlawful claiming of deductions. We prefer to save our clients money legally and avoid the worry of the possibility of an ATO audit.
